Tony was Executive Advisor to the Munich Re Board of Management for MR US Holding effective January 1, 2023, thru December 31, 2023, during his transition from CEO.  He is the former president and chief executive officer of Munich-American Holding Corporation, a role he held for 15 years.  In that capacity, he is former chair of Hartford Steam Boiler Group, Inc. and American Modern Insurance Group, Inc. He was also a board member of Munich Re America Corporation and several of the related corporations.  
 

As CEO, Tony had overall responsibility for Munich Re’s property and casualty reinsurance and specialty insurance businesses, primarily in North America, where he grew the business from $2.4 billion in 2008 to over $11 billion as of year-end 2022, while significantly broadening the Group’s presence, influence and positive impact in North America.

Edward joined HOLT in January 2008 following a successful career at AT&T. Edward earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Brendan, a meteorologist and climatologist, is co-founder and CEO of AbsoluteClimo (established in 2016), a global climate physics and financial risk modeling company which uses artificial intelligence to link skillful climate and related financial forecasts with business impacts. In the 1990s Brendan founded WeatherLabs, Inc. and helped take it public on NASDAQ as the world's first publicly-held online weather company before it was acquired by The Weather Channel (weather.com).

 

Brendan is an invited thought leadership presenter on climate finance innovation at events worldwide, and occasionally guest lectures on weather and climate risk and insurance at the University of Hawaii.
